This policy covers this website, lifeatcampusorganizer.com, which is the directory for the Life at campus apps. Each campus app and the iPhone app keep their own policies, linked at the end. Life at is an independent, student-built project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any university.

What this site stores

Only what you choose on it, and only in your own browser. When you save a campus, close the welcome guide, or tick items on the checklist, that choice is written to your browser's local storage under one key. It never leaves your device and this site never sends it anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it.

What this site does not do

It sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.
It loads no third-party scripts or fonts. Everything the page needs is served from this domain.
It has no accounts. There is nothing to sign in to here.
It never puts personal information in a web address.

If you ask us to tell you about a new campus

The "Missing your school?" form sends the email address and school name you type to Life at, so that we can email you once, when Life at reaches that school. That is the only use. We do not share the list with anyone, and you can ask for your entry to be deleted at any time by writing to support@lifeatcarolina.com. If the form cannot reach us, it opens an email in your own mail app instead, and nothing is stored here.

Hosting

The site is served through Cloudflare, which handles the connection and sees the ordinary request information any web server sees, such as the address of the page you asked for. Life at does not keep server logs of visitors.

The apps have their own policies

Opening a campus takes you to that campus's own site, which stores your schedule and workspace and explains exactly what it keeps:

The Life at app for iPhone uses the campus you pick inside it and follows that campus's policy.
